Considering the manifold benefits of trees,including that they release oxygen into the air,absorb harmful gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide from the air and purify it. Trees protect us from dangerous ultra-violet rays, provide us with food and the pivotal role played by trees in preventing soil erosion, maintaining ecological balance and most especially in lessening the effects of global warming,
Save Land Save Life
To save environment we focussed on air purification, water purification.
We sensitized community, students,women about air pollution,water pollution & importance of planting trees in our day to day life to save our land Earth.
We did Many Cleanliness drives in parks ,schools,& streets to keep the surroundings clean. To purify air we also performed Hawans in parks, streets, houses etc.
Samiti was also awarded for CLeanliness Drives & Plantation drives in Govt. aided programmes. for sensitizing the community door to door about wastage of water, importance of trees with sessions & with Paryavaran Geet, Swachhata Geet (Environmental songs)
Tree plantation is not just something that should be done; instead, it is a necessity, the urgent need of the hour. So lets join hands to Save Land & to Save Life.
